A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT US
Cornerstone Children’s Ranch was established in 1998 as a non-profit Christian ministry whose mission is to serve the children and parents of low income, indigent families along both sides of the Texas-Mexico border. Shortly after the Ranch’s organization, efforts were initiated to obtain our Federal 501c -3 status, which was granted 1999 (EIN # 74-2897724). Our initial efforts were started from a small storefront on the main street of Quemado, TX; and, by 2003, funding had been obtained to permit the purchase of ten acres of land. From there, the construction began on a 6,000 square foot warehouse, which houses our many donations. We have a staff residence which houses our ranch managers, Steve and Lori Mercer. There are six volunteer housing units available for all God's wonderful volunteers so they may rest while doing God's work. Since 2019, we have a school building with six classrooms with a conference room, cafeteria, fully equipped chef's kitchen, and bathrooms. As of November 2024, the foundation and exterior part of our House of Mercy has been completed. We are praying for volunteers to complete the interior part. Our staff office is open Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. We look forward to seeing you at The Ranch!
